So how do I get my 5 celestial coins back

Your roll back apparently didn't take into account the fact that when everyone woke up this morning it would be more than 29 hours since the last time any character invoked if the player is on a normal sleep schedule. I don't mind everything else that happened to be honest but losing 5 days of coins on 2 different characters because you don't think through your solutions is really lame. Please refund my coins, Losing what is now 6 days of coins was a pretty gigantic oversight on your part.

Q: Celestial Coins were lost as a result of the downtime? What will be done about this?

A: We understand that this is a concern and we are aware of the feedback. Though we may not be able to provide replacement Celestial coins, we are certainly looking into it. As we cannot guarantee replacements, we are ensuring we shortly deliver a robust thank-you pack.

They've already addressed this issue in the FAQ thread about what happened. They indicated that they're looking into the possibility of refunding the celestial coins but are unsure whether it will be possible. Regardless, they are putting together a gift for all players due to the frustration and various impacts the rollback has had and will be providing more information about that later in the week (I believe they indicated Friday the 24th). There are other concerns as well, such as people opening lockboxes during the rollback period and getting rare/very rare stuff that took a great roll on the RNG tha tmay not happen again any time soon, and they are trying to address as many of those concerns as they can.

I would guess that they are waiting until Friday so that they can continue determining whether other methods of addressing concerns are doable (i.e., refunding your coins) so that they can decide what an appropriately sized olive branch will be.

I am not going to look backwards - hindsight is 20/20, so they say. Regardless of how we got into the situation yesterday, it seems to me that at present Cryptic is doing everything they can to address it as well as they can and be as fair to all of their customers as is possible.

I imaging their "We Are Sorry" pack will contain both the 5 coin and 7 coin reward per character.

Thanks guys. I looked at the FAQ last night before bed and this wasn't part of it. Much appreciated for the info.

Yeah, I lost 6 coins on my main (I evoked for the 7th during the rollback) and then 5/4/2 on my alts. I was sad about this, but at least the economy is fixed as a result.

I'm just patiently waiting for the AH to go live again, so I can continue my legitimate market shenanigans.
