Republished! I listened to my reviewers and I think I have brought out a much better quest for it! Run it again to see the changes and let me know what you think!

    Short code: NW-DCDYEUTBV

Lord Alfraed, a high ranking official in Neverwinter, is seeking your help. A new, young, upstart politician is trying to take Alfraed's seat in the council. This, however, is not a quest about an old man trying to retain his power. You see, a cult, known as The Dark Creed, has been on the rise. They have been capturing people, killing people, and swelling their ranks. Alfraed has reason to believe that Cevon has something to do with The Dark Creed, and his move to power would surely help a group like that establish footing...

    V2.1

    Fixes:

    - Fixed some typos.
    - Pathing Issues in Blacklake should be fixed.
    - Moved some floating objects.

    Known Issues:

    - King YikTak's animations don't always work.
    - Some wandering and patroling paths are off.
    - Sound doesn't work in all areas (Cryptic bug)

Just played through it and it was a fun well-balanced quest with a good plot, will be interesting to see what happens in Part 2.

    A few bugs: -

    1) The first door stands proud of the wall.
    2) The Black Lake door just appears to be in an odd location, like it doesn't belong there.
    3) I assume you added the Black Lake bushes because they have an odd animation there. One is clipping the sewer entrance.
    4) There is a guy who spawns in the wall before you reach Cavon.
    My new quest:

    1) I noticed this and have fixed it, as well as the placement of the teleporter in front of it.
    2) The door does seem odd, but I actually have it placed over a currently existing door.
    3) No, the bushes were the ones that were there with the map. I have submitted a bug on those as I am not sure why they are doing that, but this is a Cryptic bug.
    4) Which part with Cevon is he spawning? Near the end? Do you remember the location?

    Thanks for the feedback!

Already finished the map, when suddenly fell servers. Then append to review the game.
Map not thrilled. I must admit that I have a good story with well-arranged dialogue. But I've run into a few essential elements. The most caught my eye, no decorations maps. On your maps are fairly empty, in the empty corridors (hideout, channels) I suggest something to add, because it throws in the eyes. I would advise you to change the appearance of the Kobold and somehow their name to the more fitting to the mood of the map. We attack clones. We have a lot of battle map, you can add what style of "collect 10 apples". Besides caught my eye a couple of flying barrels.

Very happy to again judge of your map, when you uptade :)

Thanks for the review! I will say, first off, that I did have some trouble understanding your review, which is fine, but if I misunderstood something, please do not hesitate to correct me!

When you say there are no decorations, which area? The headquarters has decorations, with things like you would expect to see in a makeshift headquarters....food, supplies, etc...what would you think would be a good fit. Keep in mind, the hallways, the cellar and the main area are pretty packed with stuff, so not sure what you meant? Same thing with the corridors...I do have items in there, but I fear that if I put anymore in there, it would make it harder to navigate and/or fight in.

I didn't want to (and won't) change the costumes and names of the Kobolds. They are a bit part in the quest as a fun way to get from point a to point b. They serve no purpose to the story aside from gaining the key. That's why they are the way they are....just Kobolds!

Do you happen to know about where the floating barrels were? I have been slowly and systematically going through and fixing what I do find, but can always use the help on finding them! Thanks again!

Just played it. First of all : good job.
The story seems to be interesting and i'm curious to see the others parts.
Some encounters are challenging. The final boss instead requires the use of potions and a few moments of escape. But it's just so ... it's the boss.
Beautiful mechanics with Cevon that can be glimpsed far from the distance.
I personally would have liked some more details in the sewers. I'm not speaking about environment (well created) but instead pieces of history. Clues ... traces... signs ... things like that ....
I was torn between three and four stars. At the end I gave 3, but for me 3 corresponds to a beautiful and fun quest

Thank you for the feedback! I believe I have your quest on my review list coming up in just a couple days.

I have been getting a lot of feedback on the sewers, and I have thought of expanding on them, but I am unsure yet. Again, it plays no role in the story, it's just some sewers that happen to run into Blacklake and can be used to move around without being seen. I will probably expound upon them in a quest in my second campaign, as part of the ongoing story of The Creed!

Much appreciated review! You hit everything right on the head. I wanted to make it more.....impactful, but, as the series goes on, the intensity level increases, you get to know the characters a lot more, and the villain...oh boy the villain.......

That being said, I do understand the gripes you had. The only reason I didn't have guards leading to the sewer area was mainly just because as an aging Lord, Alfraed only has two people who are working for him...basically, the council of Lords wants him out. I do plan on fixing up the dialogue a little bit to get it a bit more in depth, but the third chapter is when everything really begins, though, I do introduce some new elements in the second chapter, and some tiny clues to the overall story as the game continues to grow.

Think of it like your typical Final Fantasy game...it starts as this small, personal story...then grows into this giant, world changing, cataclysmic ending.

But, again, glad you enjoyed it, and I hope you enjoy the next chapter!

So, as of Friday the 24th, I will unpublishing the intro quest to the Dark Creed saga. This is not a bad thing, but instead, a very good thing. A few of you (46 and counting) have been able to play the quest, have been introduced to the story, and know, somewhat, what to expect.

The story is not changing. I will be adding some dialogue options here and there, expand upon some of the ideas that were laid out in the original published version. However, the majority of the quest is getting a MAJOR redesign. A few new paths, new looks, new textures. Again, the character styles, the story, those remain. But expect a big change to the sewers, the tunnels, the abandoned house, everything. The Blacklake portion, while brief, will be more lively, with a few new things thrown in to enhance the story.

Thank you for the initial feedback everyone, and if you want to play it again (or for the first time) get in on it before Friday!

The revamped first quest is coming along nicely. Expect to see something probably within a week. I also have the second chapter about 1/4th done, and the third chapter is written (dialogue, plot points, etc) and ready to be worked on. My goal is to have the whole first chapter out before the middle of June, but I am not going to rush it out like I did the first part of Chapter 1. Expect some new things and a great story!
