Rollback but what about the time spent?

I lost two levels which one was the fated 60th. My question is what do the customers get for the time wasted? My wife and I burned a day off charging our way to 60 to find out that our day of was wasted. While we enjoyed the leveling I doubt we will enjoy doing it all over again the next day. I am not asking for my time back even though taking progress away from all characters is a mistake, but getting no reward or sorry for mucking up the code isn't good business. I work in product support for a software company and behavior like this ruins customer loyalty to a product. My 2 pennies! Love your game Cryptic, but step up your Customer Support, Community Managers and the way you handle the consumer.

Thanks!

You should be thanking them, and not even mentioning what you get in return.(and yes, I know this bug had already existed) You're not entitled to receive anything for any reason. If they hadn't done a rollback, you wouldn't even have a game to play right now, because the games economy would have been devastated beyond repair. The bug was so easily abused and replicated that saying there was billions of total AD obtained, would have been an understatement. The game is still technically in "open beta" and yes I am of the opinion that it is merely a scapegoat tag, and feel any game that is in "open beta" and promises no more wipes, is just hiding behind the tag.

I purchased both founders packs, leveled up to 60 legitimately without exploiting foundry, haven't abused any of the glitches/bugs/exploits in dungeons, and wasn't around for the AH exploitation, and I personally support a complete wipe. I do not think a rollback solved the entire problem. I also think that this would have been the perfect time for a wipe. It gave them the opportunity to wipe out any exploitation that had occurred thus far, and while it wouldn't be the go to result in the future, right now it would have stopped the snowball effect that is already in place. Instead all they did was reduce the snowball in size a little.

That being said, I'll still continue playing, but it will be awhile before I sink any more cash into the game.

From this sticky in this forum:
"As a token of our appreciation for you, the community, and all that you've done for the game throughout these days of Beta, we will be sending a thank-you gift to players and opening ourselves up on the forums and various other channels to answer any and all questions we can."
"Duct tape is like the force; it has a light side and a dark side and it holds the universe together."
