ok so I've seen lots of groaning going on, calling for class actions, calling for bans - none of which will ever change what happens the next time someone finds an 'exploit' and decides to make the most of it.
My question is - are these types of exploits considered a criminal action, can Cryptic and Perfect World take criminal action against people who have clearly decided to see how much damage they can do to them, with very clear malicious intent?
sadly no they can't that's why so many people exploit games for gain all they can do is perma-ban accounts that exploit but even that won't fully fix the problem

It's still beta. Even though "open beta" in the f2p genre generally means going "live with bugs" to cash in on the shop i think people at some point needs to have atleast SOME malicious intent in one way or the other, it is beta, it needs to be tested.
Although when an exploit like this has been found your intent should be converted into the need to report it, not the need to further use the exploit.
