Launcher screw up after patching

After today's patch me and my wife can not access our clients our AVG and ISP is not the problem due to how I'm online here.

I have tried running as admin and everything to turning off firewalls it is not that causing problems as for third party programs used for gaming i have deactivated them. I stil can not get on.

Er I don't have the speed to re-install this game :/

    sadly they have not answered to fix this issue.

    Same here. Or when it does work, I still get server connection issues.

    I'd say redo the install file from the PW website. might be able to run the CrypticError.exe in the Neverwinter/Live folder.

    worst case you delete the Neverwinter folder and download the install from PWE.
    Open the Launcher. Click Options near the top. Check Disable on-demand patching. This will download another couple of gigs.

    Cryptic look I ENJOY THIS GAME please upload a manual Launcher and some manual patch files from the last 175 MB patch so i can see if this works Pls pls pls give us a file to replace old launcher

    I'm having the same problem over here since the patch. The launcher don't even get past the "trying to update cryptic client".

    ****, im not patching then, when tat happend with CO we had to re-instal everyting.

    I was playing the game just fine last night and left the game running. Came on this morning and still played. Then i shut it down and came home to play it and now my launcher is fuct up and said its an inpropper program, cant even find it now and IM pissed.

    Im getting the same thing

    Trying to update the launcher. Please be patient, Tried connecting 12 times.

    Then i get this: Unable to establish connection to patch Server. Please check your Internet connection. If problems
    persist, please contact Technical Support.

    See they know everyone is having this problem they don't even f** fix it -___- uninstalled re installed but not re downloaded new files used the install files from the client folder and still same problem flushed dns didn't work ... so I will wait til I'm back in the U.S and will re install then.

    I'm experiencing the same prob as most here.
    "trying to update launcher. Please be patient. tried connecting 2 times"
    followed by
    "The patchclient got a message while it was in a state with no response function"
    Pretty much tried everything but any advise would be great.

    I'm still in this state... haven't been able to get past it since the 17th patch.

    Got to the loggin screen, but no responce from server when logging in due to timing out. I'm logging in from the EU. lately there has been major rubberbanding and lagspikes ingame as well.

    I have been trying to log in all day and can't get in. I keep getting timed out once I get to the character selection screen. Whats going on???!?!?!!?!?

    Obviously none of you follow neverwinter on Twitter or Facebook. The servers have been down all day since someone decided they wanted to hack the Auction House.

    well servers are back up yet i still cant get past the lil icon you click to launch the game..any suggestions how to fix or workaround? ive uninstalled twice so whats next.


    things ive tried so far

    Run as admin
    run in win 7 mode
    reinstalls
    and adjusted some Lan settings
    Fresh download and reinstall also didnt work..got that same 1 try window top left
