Do you enjoy making suggestions knowing they will not read them?

Seriously, every day I see at least 25 threads of people going fix this, change that, this would be better if X

Do you really think they even read your threads? Or Care if they do?

Brb cosmetic changes while people are still exploiting.

Its okay though guys, zen market has new stuff.

You know what they should fix? The cycle rate of the things NPCs say. If one is standing in a camp fire for 30 seconds, they hear every NPC in the area say their one liners about 40 times. Drives me nuts. :)That is the most important 'fix' I can think of. . .

I support u, i think they should treat us like peapole not like brainless animals, if there is a bug that could unbalance whole market and zen shop, then it should be nr 1 on the list , but all i can see is new items in zen shop... for me it looks like " fast buy before they will realise that something is wrong here and they want to get as much money as they can in fastest way.
But all complains is useles coz this is OB yeah but stinks anyway...

just because they don't say anything doesn't mean they aren't reading what we say.

If I were a dev i'd go out of my way to ignore YOU in particular so I guess you're kinda right. :)

You say it as if they haven't put effort not fixing a thing, there have been many issues and they've been fixing them over time. If you can run a game better, then why not start your own? Then maybe you'll understand running something isn't all magical.

As somebody who gets to work with the CM's daily I get to peek over the fence and see the other side.

I can see how much the developers read the forums of their own merit. They don't respond but they do read. In fact it surprises me to see just how often they read the forums.

On top of that a large portion of the job the Community Managers do is to grab different threads to point out to developers. They pass on a lot more than they respond to.
If the moderators say they have seen people saying certain issues have been brought up on the forums the first thing they do is ask for a thread to link to the developers.

There's a lot of stuff that happens behind the scenes but by no means are these forums ignored. In fact Cryptic is keeping a closer eye on these forums than I have ever seen from other developers. Changes take time but they are listening.

I dunno, do you enjoy preaching to the community knowing that no one cares?

Your complaining is nothing new. Every single game forum has a thread every once in a while that tries to act like a pretentious HAMSTER and say "your suggestions don't matter, the devs don't read them."

Unless we're talking about Nexon, these accusations are more than likely complete bollox.

listening and doing anything about it are two different things.

There's a chap who farmed the complete HAMSTER out of the GF exploit for weeks on end after discovering it in closed beta.

He only got a 3 day ban and nothing happened to his mule accounts.

Yeah, cryptic may be listening but they sure as heck aren't acting. I'll tell you that.

Just a point of minor information from Cryptics first game City of Heroes. It could take months or years for player suggestions to show up in game. But player suggestions would show up in game.

I laugh mockingly at the people who seem to think suggestions can be implemented in 2 days.

This thread doesn't help OP. It only makes the forum worse.

Why don't you make the post more constructive instead of sarcastic.

Actually you don't know what further action will be taken due to that. The investigation is still ongoing and further action is still possible.

It might help if this was mentioned somewhere, cause to the average player everything we say is ignored.

I know it isnt true, but that is the general consensus.

IT minded people arent great when it comes to communication, that much i know and who wants to post when theres so much more to do, but still would be nice for some official word that they are reading what we say.

I think they already have their agenda laid out for when the "new" (perdeveloped) content will be released. I also don't really think they care much about what the players say until they stop logging in or spending money. Why would they change a single thing if what they had wasn't broke? Maybe it's broke from our perspective, but from a business stand point if you can get idiots to keep paying money into a game with no content after 60 then why would you change that
