A friends told me that Betas arn't for Bug/Exploits anymore. Developers think they can make more money short term then making constant money long term.
I find it true. Look at Smite/Path of Exile and now Neverwinter forever Betas.
Edit: I haven't been Suspended/Banned just saying Beta Testing means Testing for bugs/Exploits.

Beta is for finding, reporting, and fixing bugs - not exploiting them for profits that will carry over to the live launch. That kind of behavior gets you banned. I'd prefer it be permanent, but any action is better than no action.

One could argue thats an argument for wiping at the end of beta.
Like you're ****ing supposed to.
But given this is a soft launch, not a real beta, we dont get that option.
I found many bugs, I reported them not used them for my own personal gain, I can promise you that not one cheater who was using the exploits ever reported it.
Nor any meaningful penalties to exploiters making thousands of real world dollars.
Sadly, if all you face for exploiting is a 3-day ban, why would anyone sink any real world money into this game? Just exploit, and even if you caught you can just take a 72hour break doing something else......

and theyre the ones making hundreds of dollars sellin AD to goldsellers and all they got for it was a couple days of not playing Neverwinter.

theres also a difference between a meaningful punishment and a badly targeted, incompetent slap on the wirst.
I don't disagree with that. 3 days isn't long enough. I'll give them the "its beta" benefit of the doubt this time. If this were actually fully released I'd hope it would be a lot longer than 72 hours. Doing an exploit one or two (or three) times.. Sure I can see that. Dozens? No chance.

There may be bugs in a Beta and if you can find them it would be much appreciated to report them.
However bugs should never be exploited. Since the characters are live characters (no more wipes) exploiting bugs will result in the same action as exploiting a bug found years from now.
Please report any bugs you find but under no circumstances should you exploit and abuse them to gain power, advantage or profit.

You know fanboys, they love making excuses to justify everything that's wrong with Neverwinter.
They are still adjusting some stuff, but there will be no character wipe

I bet they must feel so penalized.
Regardless of if it is beta/live if you find a bug/exploit, report it and leave it at that or deal with the consequences.
what consequences?
In what world is a 3 day ban anything but a slap on the wrist?
Occam's Razor makes the cutting clean.
The 3 days/week are probably just a warning. If people get caught multiple times exploiting, then I assume perma bans will be handed out.
