Cannot connect

Anybody else having a problem connecting?

I have been unable to connect since last night. When I double click the launcher I get the tiny window that says:

Trying to update the launcher.
Please be patient.
Tried connecting 24 times

I then get a box with an OK button that says:

Unable to establish connection to Patch Server...

My wife has had no issues connecting and we're on the same router. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and get the exact same problem. Clearing the DNS does not work. Any ideas?

    In case anybody else has this problem, I turned off Kaspersky Pure 3.0 and it let me start. Weird since I didn't do anything other than virus definition updates to Kaspersky.

    I haven't even had a chance to give the game a try out yet and ... with all the problems I'm seeing that you all are having, I don't know if I want to! I'm downloading the game on my desktop after this issue was happening on my laptop... But if there are any problems with this, I'll just uninstall and forget about it. There ARE other games out there... in Beta... WITHOUT all these bugs.

    The thing is there are very appealing aspects to the game. The bugs make me keep wishing for the game that it could be.
