Circle of Pain - @Sharp - NW-DNOZIRKG2

Hey all. I recently put together my first quest in the foundry. It took me about a day to make, and I'm still learning the foundry, but I feel I've put together something worth playing. It puts you into a seedy backroom fight club with an eccentric MC.

It's short, sweet, and not very serious. I hope you'll give it a try. And possibly subscribe to me, if you like it. I plan on creating more, even better content in the future.

If you'd like to do a review trade, just post your quest/campaign, and I'll be sure to play and review it, so long as you play and review mine.

Constructive feedback is always appreciated, and while I don't intend to overhaul this quest, I'll certainly make small fixes if need be.

To review:
The Fear That Freeze

Reviewed:
The bones of Xunvrae (Was not able to complete)
Invoking the Mad God
In Thrall to the God of Rage
The Three Dials
The Camp and bandits

Really liked your character names "No really is is a bear".

Maybe add a few more details to the pocket plane, seems a little empty.

    Done:

    Rating: 5 Stars

What I liked: The humor was toxic, man. At the part where you give us dogs and they're called "these might not be puppies," I laughed. When the severely disproportionate mobs came at me, I was laughing so hard I almost died.

Your character work with Jesto was superb. I think you have a whole campaign here.

What I did not like: The final platform. One of my mobs fell off and it took me forever to find her again. Put up some invisible walls, or something :)

Suggestion: Put up invisible walls right in front of your non-interactive mobs in the first room. It was distracting to watch them cower in fear, and your mobs went to them by default when I stealthed as a trickster. There are some neat ways to set up your room that would work well for this style.

I would also ask you put more effort into your scenery. Just something else to help add to the awesome job you did with this go. Thanks for sharing!

My quest is in my sig should you feel like reciprocation :)

I really enjoyed this. I saw the initial description of it being an arena quest and groaned, because I'm not a huge fan of just straight-up arena style matches. But this one's different! The humor was good (unlike many a quest that bills itself as humorous, I might add), Jesto was a great host/villain, and the custom enemies in the pocket plane were very well done. Here's my additional notes:

    - Jesto had a number of speech options I couldn't take (e.g. 'bundle of nerves') but no explanation as to why I couldn't take them beyond I didn't have the skill. What skill?

    - The platform with the jesto fight is cool and all, but there's way too little room to maneuver. I kept falling off. This may be intentional, but if so then it wasn't really clear.

    Addressing both points:

1 - The bottle of nerves can be picked up from the beginning of the quest if you pick the right speech option on your way into the back room. Unfortunately, the foundry will always say you don't have the 'skill', even if what you are missing is an item.

2 - I've fixed that. There are now invisible walls to keep you and Jesto on the platform.

Relax. While I've had time to bump the thread, I haven't had time to actually get on neverwinter in the last couple days. I'm about to get to it now.

As for the bones of xunvrae, while I did play it, it was not completable due to a glitch. I PMed you what happened with the glitch as well as my thoughts on the quest. Check your inbox.
