Game sitting at "Connecting to account server"

For some reason when i go to log in the game sits at "Connecting to account server" for a minute or to then tells me the account server has timed out - not sure whats up.

    Same problem. Can't find a solution anywhere

    Are you running the patcher? I accidentally made a shortcut directly to the game client instead of the patcher and had the same things happen.

    Make sure you are running neverwinter.exe and not gameclient.exe.

    I can't get the game to open using the patcher. The neverwinter shard doesn't show in the list.. I only see champions online & Star Trek. I've tried every variation of the options, nothing works.

    So i resulted to the direct game client, that obviously doesn't work either...

    I kinda got the same problem, I got my GWF level 44 and ever since I started playing this game I had no problems. Now I can login in my account http://prntscr.com/15fxcp and I press safe login http://prntscr.com/15fxgu and all the sudden I get this http://prntscr.com/15fxib and after 10 sec of "server not responding" i get timed out http://prntscr.com/15fxma , but the funny thing is that I can create new caracter on the same account and play it normaly, btw. I also tryed "normal" login like 100000 times, nothing works. Thanks!

    (simillar problem to one you replied to)

    well that did away with login screen problems and now i can not start at all, oh sure the game starter makes hotbar entry but it never shows anny window. Anny clue how to fix this?
