Launcher goes idle and never does anything -.-'

Hello all,

I have recently installed NW few days ago but the game won't run at time. Every time I run it "Cryptic Launcher Autoupdate" "Trying to update the launcher. Be patient. Tried connecting 1 time." shows for a second then disappears. Later how much I wait nothing happens. Neverwinter.exe runs in the background processes while eating 50-56% CPU and 6.7 MB RAM. I'm on Windows 8 Pro x64.

I don't have Teamviewer or Mumble installed. I even tried the run the launcher in Windows Safe Mode and it still goes idle.

If any one can help me on this, then I will be happy to try this game out.

    Hi, Last weekend was quite quirky with login-in at the least to say and the random disconnects.

    Do you have any proxies selected? That is if you get to that point.
    I've disabled mine again thru the options (had it set to EU), because it stopped me from logging in.

    It won't go to the point where you type ID & Password (Login screen of the launcher). I really don't know what to do at all.

    I don't get this window either. It goes idle between autopatcher mini window & this window -.-'
    That's why I can't go to Options in Launcher.

    Mine is always stuck like this:

    It won't go ahead of this to login screen of launcher :S
