Must say its disappointing to see that players have suffered no repercussions from using the GF exploit to coast through hours of trash and bosses and become rich beyond the dreams of most hard working players.

Enough has been said about the hundreds of millions of AD these exploiters have earned and the thousands of zen amassed so i wont harp on this further, I am just shocked at the lack of appropriate action taken by PWE.

Even if you create a totally new server to try and make up for your massive oversights, whats stopping these ppl from transferring their AD to zen and jumping on the new server to dominate it as well.

I wouldnt really care about these trash players exploiting if it weren't for the fact that there are very few if any ways to make AD in this game. Pirate farm exploit is probably the most lucrative and nets you around 300k an our from selling rings etc. but once again.. it actually requires ppl to exploit the game to make any AD... so this has led to most lvl 60s resorting to farming pirate to make money. Its quite comical, when you see the prices of items farmed from pirate and the sheer amount of them on the broker, it kind of highlights how desperate everyone is to make AD due to lack of options at 60.

Gathering? non existent- pointless waste of time when considering the AD gain and time spent for materials.

Selling pvp gear? Gear is obsolete now due to how easily it is farmed and once agian being one of a few sources at endgame to make money.

Selling boss loot? See pirate farming*

The problem with not being able to make money is that it further compounds how astronomically beneficial farming and selling t3 items was using exploits, and once agian.. these ppl have suffered no consequences. Prices of obtainable items has dropped as everyone tries to make money where they can. Vorpal enchants..radiant enchants.. the list goes on with items that can be purchased by the hundreds by those t3 exploiters as they average person gets more and more desperate to make AD.

I know there will be no official comment, but I gather when you actually get around to fixing the pirate farm bug this problem will become more apparent to all.

Of course. All they care about is money, and not the players. I especially like this page where NW exploiters brag about what they did, and this quote:

"Hopefully they don't do the smart thing and wipe before I can get rid of my loot. My guildees would be really pissed off to lose all the epics I handed out."

Which btw they did not :D

On the bright side, I guess it taught us all that exploiting a PW game is perfectly welcomed.

Yea found many posts like this,

"Edit: Too late. I sold it for $973. I am also still playing. Doubt they can even track anything. Look at Envy, that dude has been caught abusing this bug and is still in game too. Cryptic/PWI are money grabbing cash *****s. Why shouldn't we be? After all, they gave us the tools."

    So demoralizing

Well look at it this way.. The dude made 6k cash.. So what they ban him, he spends 500 of that cash and he's instantly lvl 60 with the best gear in the game again..

It's too late now.. They should have disabled the set when the first report came in. They didn't, they ****ed up, it's now too late.

I'm no addict gamer but I can smell something fishy here. Exploitation is definitely just like being prejudice. I can see gamers also suffer from inflation. Cannot imagine how painful it is. Agree, that hard working players are just beyond those bosses that aims for all the riches. Not even considering the victory of other.

    Eeek, Zombie!

If a thread has not been posted on in over thirty days it's best to let it just rest in peaceas they often contain out of date information.

Furthermore there are a number of factors to take into consideration whether players are banned or not and by no means did everybody get a get out of jail free card. Players were banned depending on how they used various mechanical issues in the game.

The servers were wiped because it was promised that there would be no wipes after Closed Beta. Period.
A rollback did occur once for a very serious issue but a server wipe was never, ever going to be on the table no matter what.

This thread was created in a time period when many players called for it because the "economy would never recover" from various issues but despite all of these claims the economy has completely recovered from every single issue from that point in time.

Thread Closed for Necromancy. Let the dead remain dead please. :)
