whats the point of this, ive never tried it, what do you do? is it worth it? What can you get from it and how often?

    It has nothing to do with the crafting part, but with the gathering nodes. They give more/better stuff during that time. So when it's professions hour, go out and gather up them nodes! Just be sure you packed tons of skill kits.
