Customize character status in the HUD?

Total **** to this game (I do some LOTRO and played the old Neverwinter stuff on PC). One thing I'm noticing is that there's no character status indicator in the upper-left hand corner that indicates:
health bar/status (HP)
stamina

I can hit C in the character panel to see HP left, but it seemed kinda odd that you don't get that same bar on the HUD. I didn't see an option to add it either.

I'm sure I'm missing something.

    Yes... the REALLY BIG RED health bar in the bottom of the screen

    If i'm thinking right, most games have a health bar of your own under your portrait, which this game doesn't have. Not sure if there is an option for it though here. Stamina really doesn't need to be shown there though, as it's the bar that's curved above the D20 looking thing that shows your AP as it fills. The health bar is below your skills, a big red bar that goes up or down.

    I know some healers that in other games only look at the portraits part, but here that really doesn't work, you need to be more active. There are options to see health bars above the heads of characters though, forget where though.
