GWF Question regarding DPS on a Sentinal spec

It has been said a million times. The GWF has pretty bad DPS, so I built mine more or less for crowd control and to be able to take a fair amount of damage. But people still seem to expect alot of DPS from me. Any advice on how to balance this as best I can on sentinal specs?

    simple, tell them at the beginning that you are def specced to protect their stupid asses :D
