Posted an exchange on dragon server. Wanted to buy 1000 Zen for 359 AD each, with the intention of buying a greater bag (24 slot). 15 mins later someone posted 3 bags for 359,999 . So I cancelled my zen exchange and it recognized that I did so and did not refund my 359,000 diamonds. I've lost well over 400k diamonds now to the auction house due to it being completely ****ing broken, and there's no way to get in contact with a GM or support center to get some sort of response to what the **** the problem is. If they don't address me with these problems they can kiss any likelihood of me ever depositing money into this broken game ever again.
Being that you are a free to play player, you just made them some cash so I doubt they care. In their eyes its a positive balance!

I've noticed too that "bugs" that seem to screw people out of Astral Diamonds (e.g. broken Auction House, Gateway not awarding AD for Leadership missions, etc) seem to be very low on Cryptic's priority list. Consider this: whenever anyone loses AD to in-game bugs, Cryptic/PWE financially benefits. That probably explains their attitude.
If you cancel a listing, the AD do not go back to your character, but are put into your exchange balance. To get them back on the character, click on "withdraw" and take them out.
I have been using the exchange quite heavily since the headstart, and there were never issues. There is even a log that shows your history.
Well ****, hes right there is a "withdraw balance" function. Honestly I did lose 2 items (which auction ate) and was thinking this was the same problem and maybe over reacted. Either way thanks for your input and caring enough to respond Imivo, you should be a mod or something. Any way i can +1 you or something? I'll definitely do so.
Warning: You will be permanently removing Zen # from your personal balance. even if you cancel the listing, the Zen # will go to your Exchange Balance, not your personal balance.
I'm sure they swap the AD/Zen when trading AD for Zen.
Open the Launcher. Click Options near the top. Check Disable on-demand patching. This will download another couple of gigs.
I went through the same feeling of panic but I took a deep breath and checked every screen and found my zen. Zen shouldn't need to be claimed though, it's account based so there's only one location it can possibly go to.

I posted a thread concerning AD loss (different but comparable issue) a few days ago and contacted the support (GM and Bug report) and didn't even get a confirmation email or whatever from the support....
I believe you will never see your AD again, because this support is doing nothing or maybe needs month to response. By then nobody will play this game anymore because everybody will have a similar issue -.-

Cut the drama, it doesn't contribute anything constructive to the community or the game. Besides, he already has his AD back. They were never gone and he only needed to withdraw them.
Whining about it doesn't fix your problem or make you feel less pissed about it. Being patient might.
I lost some mail a week ago and I have not heard back from anyone yet either (and I spent quite a bit of cash on the game, so it's not a matter of being or not being a free player -- they are more than likely just flattened by the number of support requests). They will eventually get back to me.
No matter how tired and boring that line is, but this is a beta, and there will be problems. I had worse problems in MMOs that I paid a subscription fee for. Here, at least, you can just say "okay, well, that annoys me, not gonna play for a few days or weeks" without feeling like you lose money.

Yes you are right about being patient. It's just sad that they neither comment your post here nor send you an automatically generated confirmation mail saying that they are looking into it.
Ok, it is a Beta. I would not complain at all if there wasn't a cash shop. Translate my lost 350k Diamonds to Zen (around 900 - 1000), this is almost they subscription fee for a month in other MMOs.

You are about to make the following offer:
Sell Zen # at AD # (receiving AD #)
Warning: You will be permanently removing Zen # from your personal balance. even if you cancel the listing, the Zen # will go to your Exchange Balance, not your personal balance.
I'm sure they swap the AD/Zen when trading AD for Zen.

Maybe you can help pushing the thread (I will do the same here) or we will get lost within all the other complaints...
