How to fully patch the Neverwinter Client

How to fully patch Neverwinter Client/Game
  1. Run the client launcher
  2. Go to the top right of the launcher and choose options
  3. From there choose: DISABLE ON-DEMAND PATCHING
  4. Finally restart the client, login as normal and watch it patch up

After this is all said and done you should now be able to switch between zones without patching up as you already have all the files. It also gets rid of intermittent patching whilst running around and such :cool:.

This should be a sticky :P.

    I was so glad to discover this earlier this morning, before all the posts and stuff went up surprisingly. Permanently stuck in load limbo whenever new areas need to be dled, for 30min-hours if I'm unlucky, so awesome, preload everything? Start patching, note I'm from South Africa, horrible internet, but doable. 1700mb to download, and I'm now stuck on 1355, it keeps downloading 4389kb, then stops, 10min or so later it restarts, 4389 again, stops....restarts etc. -.- driving me crazy. Been at it for about 8 hours now, changed proxies, login and enter load limbo, quit and try repatching, etc etc. nothing seems to be working.

    +1 to this guy.
    I run Neverwinter from a SSD and it's ridiculous to download some small files for 3 minutes when I could load the whole thing in 2-3 seconds off my SSD.

    Thanks, this has really been bugging me, and ive only just started playing, no idea how much this would annoy me in a hardcore dungeon scenario :P

    Life saving, my game would disconnect every time it had to do an in game patch. So i couldn't even play for more than 10 seconds. I can now play wooo
