Getting out of hand...

After putting out a message on Mindflayer concerning a group for the DD event, I received a whisper saying that nobody wants an 11k GWF when they get tenfold out of a 7k CW or TR. I understand that gear score is not everything, but when people are whispering you event after event and telling you that you aren't even worth a shot because of the class you play, there is a problem. As GWFs, we put in equal if not more time into our class to compensate for the gimp-ness and lackluster jack-of-all-trades stigmas placed upon us. At least bring us to a level where we are given a chance to prove ourselves as productive members of a group.

***This is not a whine post aiming to complain until we top meters, but rather, one calling for a leveling of the playing field.***

    Good things come to those who wait, or at least we hope. Meanwhile the only way I get into t2's now is on my cw.

    I used to play Champions Online and it took Cryptic roughly 8 months from release to make melee dps & tanks viable.
    I hope they'll balance things faster in this game, I don't want my GWF to be limited to doing foundry quests once I'll reach lvl60.

    i agree i atm am currently addressing the issue i have with destroyers purpose feat
    what is the point is a dps that still even after getting a feat to gain determination from attacks does it give me so little and i still have to put myself in the be hit to do any good.
    then have people complain that they have to constantly heal me.

    alot of people think we are broken we are far from it we are just not able to use our full potential.

    I've been getting kicked from groups as well. It's sad right now for the GWF.

    Don't worry guys today I saw this exact message in the zone chat " 9.8k gs cleric LFG T2 dungeon delves , the first one who invites me get me --- NO GFs PLS ! "

    On a side note I play guardian fighter .... a GF ^ look at the msg above .

    So yeah GF and GWF are not needed in the land of the duo cleric cheese comps and TRs that deal billions of dmg and wizards that just push everything off the cliffs . Who needs a tank or a gimped melee dps class ( gwf ) - let em rot .
