AD -> offer to buy zen for 50 AD , NOT 500 or someone will snap it up . FIFTY ! then cancel and claim on the toon you want it .

gold you have to trade in person , find a friend .

Trading AD is easy on the SAME account. you just put up AD (like 50AD to 1 zen) and then cancel the order. It will put AD into a pool.

    I haven't try trading gold.
To grow old is inevitable, to grow up is optional.
Please review my campaign and I'll return the favor.

i made a thread about this not long ago , im confused about the way this works also seeing as gold ad are some of the most common things you would want to transfer between toons, i hope they change the way the mail/transfer to alts works soon.

you can use the astral diamond exchange to convert your ad/zen zen/ad but gold you can only trade to a friend and hope he trades back lol

Yea I have been wanting to know this information as well. I see people paying gold for AD and Selling glory for AD. I am curious as to how these people trade these items from one an other. For instance someone was going to pay me 5 gold yesterday for 1500 AD but neither of us could figure how to trade AD. And I wouldn't mind selling some glory pieces for AD but not sure how I would receive it from someone else?

amazing that you can't use the mail system for this type of thing.

Doesn't the market claim some of those AD as a charge when you unbind them like that?

It is slightly unbelievable that a modern mmo might be lacking these amenities and so many others. But I suspect that it is not in fact a modern mmo at its core. I suspect that the basic code upon which all this revolves is some older and more generic engine. I want to say Unreal but do treat that thought with the dubious distain it deserves, in truth I have no idea of the actual brand.

But being devised on an old engine would explain many of the missing features we previously though of as standard as well as the clunky performance and early-days combat mechanics.

If you had all just spent more cash on other PWE products imagine how good this game would have been? Why are you laughing? Stop that.

If the characters are on the same server then you can send stuff through mail by using @(your
handle after @) and any character on the server will have access to the items. As far as if they're
on different servers, I don't think that's possible even though oddly enough I can see mail from STO
on one character but not the other. Also, it's not possible to trade gold or ADs via mail only items.

Unbelievable that so many people do not see the benefit of restricting AD transfers. You guys know what would happen to the economy if anyone could trade ADs? Think about it..

Actually trading ADs between characters wouldn't be a bad thing since if one character has more than enough then send some to another character to help get things that are needed for that character.

Do you seriously think PW cares about the ingame economy?

so because PWE doesn't care then no one else should? So we should just say screw it and let farmers and botters ruin the economy?

Time for you to get some fresh air and delete forums account.

I think you might be the one needing fresh air.

I care as much as you about the botters and exploiters but I have little faith that PW does.

And the fact that you can't directly transfer ad on your OWN account really has nothing to do with botters, and as it has been mentioned it can be done quite easily by making an auction and canceling it again but it would be so much nicer if you just could transfer it directly.

As far as I know there used to be an account bank in closed beta, maybe they'll bring that back.
