PvP Glory/Exp farmers solution.

Yes this is another one of these threads but hear me out. What if the game developers made it so that the game
records how long you stand "afk" in spawn and in how many PvP games you do it.
Then based on those numbers decide whether you are a Glory/Exp farmer or that you just went afk for real in a game.
If the numbers say that you are a cheater the game will issue a temporary PvP ban for say, 10h.
And if you continue to cheat the bans get longer and longer essentially making it useless to exploit this cheap method
of getting unfair exp and glory.

This is my first post so if i did something wrong please don't lynch me.

No see, if you are in a certain area a certain amount of time it registers you as a possible exploiter. Doesn't matter if the player is tapping and moving a few feet. As long as the player is in the spawn area for a long amount of time it registers.

Because they will only develop what they need to, and at the moment (until patch anyway) that's all they needed to do. Queue up.

If it comes down to not being in a certain area, they'll just move around a lot, move from area to area. You take no armor damage, so nothing to repair. You don't have to worry about dying, because you'll just respawn and you get the same thing as if you were afk'ing before.

Honestly, it will come down to the same thing that every other game has had to do, and that's put in a vote-kick option in the game for afk'ers. However. A team of AFK farmers will still be AFK farmers. Even if they run around dying.

Unfortunately there is no perfect solution, if there was, then they would have done it already.

The only thing I can think of is to base the glory you receive off of things that you would do in PvP. CC's, kills, damage taken, damage dealt, points capped, time spent on point, assists, executes, and revives. Have the equation work out to be a number that's 0-1 and then multiply it by the max glory per match to assign each player their glory. Each player gets their own, so it's not a competition within your team for a share.

I think that should adequately cover most play styles and strategies and not penalize players for playing the objectives.

They do need to do something, it's super frustrating and boring.

how hard would it be honestly to keep heat maps of these pvp match's for a bit, implement a report system if you're reported a few times they check your matches if the maps show you're standing in pretty much one spot 90% of the time boom ban

edit : by heat map I mean like the maps they kept on halo 2/3 in order to prevent this kind of afk HAMSTER (google it)

Lets be fair. If the dev's could give any kind of HAMSTER about this game they would have 1 yes 1 solo gm watching chat and banning the spammers saying "LG AFK PvP Farm" I should think that would be a good start. A simple vote to kick option would also save results and a glovy as percentage of your score would also help ie 1000 to 25 gets 2.5% of the glory.

Being a game that is free to play. Accounts costing nothing this is going to be a problem. The comapny has alot of these games and you would think they should be aware

Like I posted to several other topics like this, just remove all rewards for useless players. Serious ones learn to rise above bots anyway.

Maybe something like, you need to reach -- score by this time (Very low ofc to give lower experienced people a shot) But maybe something like "You need to contribute with atleast 10% of the team score (which is obv half the average) within 3 minutes or so or you'll be replaced and blocked from queuing for a certain time

    Here's my solution:
I think they should implement a system where if you don't attack(or heal) anyone for like 1 min you're automatically kicked from the match, you won't be able to access pvp for X hours and also you lose x amount of glory.
Have fun coming back every minute to attack someone if you want to.

there should be a voting system and kick the afk players then if they are kicked they get no xp and glory

The only solution would be to receive glory based on what you do in the match.
