Where did the Mimics go

I haven't seen one for several days now.

Last one was in Idris's dungeon. I'm currently lv 55, doing the Drow/Rothe content and I haven't seen a single Mimic yet.

Did people QQ and get them patched out or what?

theyre just rare. im lvl 60 and ive fought like 8 or 9 of them

Mimics are always located in the exact same spots. Some locations just don't have any of them.

Don't they spawn at fixed locations too?

iirc they were always a low/mid lvl monster in D&D, AD&D
