Just wondering, my backdrop sounds are not playing at all in my foundry tests. Will these actually be there during the published mission? As in, is it a glitch only in testing or will these sounds not make it to live?
Not a big deal, can always place a sound marker. Just wondering.
This is a known bug and should be fixed in a large foundry update coming - for now to get ambient sound or music to play open up a room property tab and choose the sound there. The placeable sounds are not firing off correctly at this point until patched.

This only work for interior maps however. For exterior maps, there is no work around to make either place able sounds or Backdrop sounds work.
There are some exceptions.
If the sounds is ATTACHED to another object, such as animals, fire, etc, then that sound will work.

I really appreciate someone on the Dev side updating us on this issue. I literally have a mission that is more or less ready to publish and I won't do it until this sound bug is fixed due to how extensively I use placed audio, so it's a big issue for me.

Some FX and some Music doesn't work at all even in edit mode, but even if it gets through it won't work when publish.

If I place them in my mission, will they fire off after the patch hits? Without having to go back into a published quest to edit it?
