prepaid mastercard not working

does anyone know why my prepaid master card isnt going thru, im entering everything exactly .. double.. triple.. quadruple checking and nothing wrong but i get an error.. helppppppp

    It might be because the system is looking for a zip code. Most pre-paid cards have a way to register the card online. This will allow you to attach a zip code to your card. Sometimes that works.

    What is the error you get. I remember when I was having an issue with my card with LOTRO. What had happened was they had changed their system where your mailing address had to match exactly with what the mailing address is with your card.

    So for example.

    Your mailing address - #10 1001 fonda st

    Your mailing address registered with your card. - 1001 fonda st Unit 10

    As you can see the addresses are the same as the mail would go to same place but for billing purposes they are not entered the same.

    Either they are having an issue with their system or do you have the exact amount on the card for your purchase. Cause if it is the exact amount you might not have enough for taxes, (any exchange rate if that is the case), and any transaction fee like which my card has.

    its a 50 dollar card and ive tried the other amounts with no success

    Not the address where you got the card. Is your card reloadable? Mine is a reloadable Visa I got from Money Mart here in Canada.

    no im pretty sure its a 1 time card, i got it from 1 of those kiosks in a mall here

    no idea. but it's not a recognised form of credit. paypal works fine once verified. The fact you have money on it does not mean its as good as cash for internet services.

    you have one of those gift cards from mastercard. Those are harder to get to work. You might want to contact customer support at customerservice@perfectworld.com

    I know. I think maybe regular credit cards automatically transmit this sort of info, and I think maybe prepaid cards don't transmit it unless they're registered.

    I may have gotten the technical details wrong, but what I can tell you is that registering the card worked for me when I had to use a prepaid card in a different MMO.

    it says its a mastercard.. which PW accepts..

    I'm not sure if it matters what address you use. To give yourself the best shot of it working, though, I'd put in the same name and address you used when you created your Neverwinter account.

    Check the back of the card. There's usually a website where you can go to register the card.

    ive called them today and they say the card is active..

    That's why I use PayPal or will buy gift cards. BTW Perfectworld excepts like 10 different gift card systems so it is easy to find one at a local store that should work.
