can't play until I get this file fixed >.>. I'm not repatching the entire game for 1 file.

It's too bad that there's no repair tool like in Tera. If force verify is a repair tool, it sucks, lol, it didn't fix anything. Tera will look at each file and compare it to an SHA or MD5 or CRC (dunno which) to confirm that the file isn't corrupt. It'll then replace all corrupted files and download any missing files.

Patcher should have a tool like this. I probably won't be able to play Neverwinter until it gets this tool ;D. If the tool is never going to be made, I guess I'll have to quit. Not going to redownload entire game every time I get a corrupted file from a patch =o. That's just super lame, lolz.

    You can delete the hogg files from the Piggs directory (in the Neverwinter/Live one), then select "Force Verify" under Options, and the game should ideally re-download the files, fixing your issue.

    Yea, but it's a big download because it's all packaged into one thing. I initially downloaded this all from a university, which is how I got it. I then xferred to a desktop. My ISP would flip if I downloaded that. I also can't do this every time a single file gets corrupted... this is crazy >.<.

    I think I'm just going to wait until they release a tool for verifying patched files. Most modern MMOs have such tools. Asking a person to download a few gigs every time 1 file gets corrupted is crazy.

    Ah. I am in the States, so I don't have a metered download, and redoing it is just an annoyance and lost time -- not money.

    I have only been able to play for two hours or so since open beta due to the game constantly crashing on me (I knew a possible fix for your issue from researching my own), so good luck with resolving this issue.

    At least it gives us more time to study, right? Hah.

    I live in the states too and my internet is not metered, but I'm not on broadband, I'm on a special wireless network that bounces from radio to radio. As such, there is very limited bandwidth. If someone hogs a lot of bandwidth, that hurts the other few thousand users so that they can't do anything. When that happens, the ISP gets really pissed off and shuts the person down.

    If I just download 1-2 gigs willy nilly, there goes my connection.

    This is the reason I downloaded the stuff at a university : |. I can't drive 75 miles+ and spend an hour downloading every time I get a corrupt file. That is ridiculous.

    Not to mention that I'm already in a very foul mood and am pissed off at PE because I didn't get into Neverwinter Closed Beta when I paid for Raiderz Founders pack way back when that said "you will get into Neverwinter Closed Beta if you buy this pack." They eventually said that they'd send invitations in waves to the Raiderz people... never got one -.-. I spent the $30.00 solely to get into Neverwinter closed beta, so yea... : |, pissed off person here. Already vowed to never spend another penny on PE stuff, haha.

    i found me again! lol

    but now i get 'Texture_Library/Core/Water/Default_Water_Flow_02_N.Wtex:' error...lmao

    one of the reasons i can't bring myself to spend money on unfinished products...
    like buying half of a dishwasher...
