Game is unplayable, Need help!!!!!!!!!!

I cannot get any character past the front door of Protectors Enclave and level 4. I can create a character, run through the "tutorial" including the "clear the Bridge" instance without any lagg or rubberbanding, everything works fine until i get sent to the Protectors Enclave city, its starts off seeming ok, i can see players and NPCs moving around without any noticable issues, i can see the chat window working fine with people talking and the ingame notices from PW but i cant change the channel from "say" and nobody can see what i write in chat. I can activate skills icluding my daily skill but it doesnt register a cooldown, i can walk around for about 10-20 seconds but then i get teleported back to where i loaded in, if i keep trying to move around again the samething happens, 10-20 seconds later i end up back where i started. eventually the chat fails and disapears, I get an AFK warning, then i get booted. I have tryed changing all the settings on the launcher and ingame but nothing helps. all my drivers are up to date and i have a fairly highend machine and a cable DSL internet connection that acording to my provider is working fine, i have no troubles playing any other MMOs, just Neverwinter. I would really like to play this game but as of now it is unplayable.

Does anyone else have this issue? anyone know of a fix or if PW has even given any response to this issue?

    What are the specs of your fairly high end machine?
    Do you see an updating bar in the top left of the screen when you go in?

    install cfos speed - had the same problem

    I get the same thing, at most times it's not even playable, spend 20 minutes trying to walk somewhere and then get rubberbanded back to where you were. At times I can play with no lag at all, but other times, you might as well not play cause you can't accomplish anything.

    This definitely is not my computer. I am able to play Age of Conan on high graphics at 120 FPS without a hitch, yet this game I get a server not responding message every 10 seconds. I have clicked the dedicated patch, so I know its not downloading content while I am trying to play, I just can't figure out what is causing this.

    I had this issue when i was downloading a torrent, stopped the torrent, logged out and back in and it resolved the issue. Do you have torrents running? Mine was a world of tanks upgrade.

    I have the same problem came up protective enclave at level 4 and the character laguea me 20 seconds and I way back and there is deseperante solusion this.
    Too bad I have a huge desire to play neverwinter. Please I need solution.

    Still cant play the game. I have uninstalled the game and reinstalled it, double checked that all my drivers are up to date, started other toons and renewed my IP address with no change.

    to awnser previous comments, yes i did see patching text in the upper left side of the window when i logged in when i had the option to disable on demand patching unchecked. no i do not have any torrents or other programs running when im trying to play NW and normally i dont have anything running while i play any game with the exception of Mumble (which i have turned off while trying to play NW) and here are the specs for my rig.

    Core™ i7-3770K Processor @ 3.50 GHz (not overclocked atm)
    Asus P8Z77-V Motherboard
    Vengeance LP 16GB DDR3 1600MHz
    Radeon HD 6870 1GB (kinda old card but well above recomended)
    Windows 7 Home Premium x64 (64-bit) SP1
    M4 2.5in SATA III Solid State Drive, 256GB

    maybe not the best build out there but certainly much higher than the recomended specs.

    I looked into that cfos speed program but i have a problem with paying $15 on a program that should not be needed to play an MMO when i have no problem at all with any other MMO i play.

    If any moderator looks at this thread could you please contact me so i can get this resolved, i would really like to play your game.

    i dont have that issue but i am rubber banding like a <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font> this morning sadly :(

    i hope its resolved for you as the game is pretty sweet for f2p

    Thanks jq99, i am getting really frustrated but i still want to try this game, I enjoyed the first 4 levels and all the people I play online with are playing this game and having a blast, it freaking sucks not being able to join them.

    Still waiting for a response from a mod.......anyone know if there is a technical support hotline? i cant seem to find a number to call. I tryed going through the support website but cant get anywhere because the ticket i submitted ingame didnt work which i can understand since it doesnt seem like im really connecting to the game server and nothing else works. i hate to say this but the customer support for this game seems really <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font> poor.

    I have the exact some problem as well. it just makes the game unplayable which is a complete shame, i really hope this fix this soon.

    Rubber banding is definitely a connection issue, I just asked for specs so all the information is available if Tech Support peeks in.

    Oh and those links DO NOT FIX the lag issues... They just help Cryptic gather data so that perhaps (hopefully) they can build a better net code for us...

    I have been on the tech forums and submitted a ticket but got an auto response that links something like the post you linked Darkjeff but I have tried every thing they mention on the forums and nothing has helped. im still stuck in protectors enclave unable to progress or even talk to anyone, I have not been able to find a tech support hotline that most MMOs have and I cant even get ahold of the billing hotline to ask for my money back that I spent on the guardian package so I could get in a couple days early with my friends. that was a waste!!

    Anyway, has anyone had any success in finding a solution to this problem or do we have to wait for PW to either find and fix the problem on their end or just plain give up.

    First off love the game wish i could play it. Rubberbanding every 6-8 seconds frame rate spikes have tried all networking fix's have tried all isp fix's is not computer or internet, is not saturation during certain times of days, graphics at min and max plus tweaking still no response, get dc'd at random, does not matter what i am doing and is at random intervals, and since some people are having no problems on the same day i am in the same area and isp, highly doubt its stress on servers. I would love to buy a founders pack i really would but unfortunately i will not spend money on a game i litterally cannot play and will not spend money on the game even if it works in the future due to having something supposed to be enjoyable like a game not be enjoyable.

    Dont get me wrong really do love the game and wish it worked for us keep trying guys i am not a lost cause yet!!

    On the 1st and 2nd day, there were much rubberbanding, but now it plays fine for me, well i have to play on "safe mode" or lower settings because hardly can play on old laptop.
