Sorry if this is in the wrong section :O

But anyway, i play a DC, as you probably gathered, I've hit level 60 and im currently wearing the full pvp set + weapon/offhand with a mix of t1/t2 accessories from drake/unicorn vendor with r5 enchants in most of my slots.

However, im finding it difficult to run dungeons and heal effectively and wandering if anyone could give any tips/advice on a good set of gear/stats to go for.

However, im enjoying playing my DC, but people /w me *****ing about heals is offputting and a bit annoying

Are you just trying to heal up damage? Or are you trying to prevent damage and maintain health levels?

I have found greater success at actually preventing the damage from occurring in the first place, and then proactively counter damage taken so that health pools do not drop below 80-90% at any given time. Now, if someone doesn't perform well, movement wise, then there is little I can do to help them as a priority.

It helps to play with intelligent people who understand where to stand/not to stand.
Sister Vanity knows if you've been naughty or nice...and heals accordingly.

You might wanna try the class forums since it is a class specific question.

    Hi! My first post :)

I generally hate forums - primarily a cesspool for whiners and people who want to change the game to suit their own needs. But anywho, there is a Cleric forum that may help here:

But the poster above is correct, the KEY in this version of Cleric in this game is to understand (and try to make anyone else understand (if they complain)) how it works here. We cannot just click on you and just click one button for heal. We have to a) find you, and then b) target you, then c) have something available to heal you with that isn't on cooldown.

Make sure people understand (and you yourself understand) that you are not playing a "click and heal" cleric. You are NOT trying to keep everyone from dying quickly... while that is one aspect, you need to realize it is just as important to keep people and yourself from taking damage and then trying to manage the adds. Also note that you may want to consider throwing a heal DOT (our main heal) MUCH earlier than most other MMOs - like the above poster refered too.

What works for me is is someone needs a heal desperately and can't (or won't) use a healing pot, I ask them to either jump up so I can actually find you or move back a little. The pile of toons and their companions sometimes on mobs, especially bosses, are so packed in one spot it's impossible to aim a heal....
