Same here, spent ages adjusting sound effects Really do hope its fixed very soon. Adds another dimension to quests having some ambient sound and sound effects for events.

As drakedge2 already pointed out, this is a known bug going back well into Foundry beta. Cryptic is aware of it.
I've been griping about the sound being broken on here a good bit, it's been broken a long time, and a fix probably won't come as soon as we would like. It is discouraging, but we've been assured by the game developers that it will get fixed, and that the sounds we placed will eventually work as intended.
