And I don't mean a massive snare or slow, just a very short one (ie.1 second) to compensate for latency.
As it stands you can charge to an enemy, hit them and do damage with the ability itself, but then you are immediately out of range again before you can use any other abilities.

I disagree.. we have an ability that snare already.
The main purpose of this ability is a gap closer and interrupt. There is some question if this interrupt works though.

If I understand OP correctly, his complain is that because of the lag, when you try to use your snare after a charge, he is already out of range. And that's why he suggests just a small snare.
