I can't take it anymore

I've put up with the DC threat issue for the two dungeons and three skirmishes. But Lair of the Mad Dragon... I've had enough! Is that intended! All the adds and mobs swarming around me? At one point at a boss there was so much red and flame and adds around me I couldn't even see the ground! Countless deaths, dozens of potions chugged, an endless parade of demons chasing after me!

The game is supposed to be fun, playing a DC in that dungeon is anything but and it's so disheartening that I'm not even gonna level it anymore if that's how the game is looking post LotMD

Sticking with GWF, seems to be loads more fun.

    Are you using Sooth? I had the same problem until I put in sooth and I had less issues. However, at one point when all of the Legion Devils came out around 60%, they ALWAYS seem to rush for me...always.

    Exactly same as me.But as i read the forums more, the more i realize we GF are not needed as there are clases that can fight boss better.

    As i understand it, you should pull the head of a dragon away from a group, so the AoE dont hit them.So they can deal with ads.Thing is, once some imp is on you, you are kinda screwed.We GF arent as mobile as rogues etc, so when the guard metter is down (and even with some passives and feats, it goes down quickly) you are just burden for Cleric...

    1. Queue.
    2. Wait for it...
    3. Once you get invited press shift + 1
    4. Once you're inside open your current inventory (C).
    5. Take off ALL YOUR ITEMS (including underwear and jewelry).
    6. Put them back on.
    7. Enjoy greatly reduced agro.

    Now about that Lair of the Mad Dragon business... the problem is not you, it's the Control Wizard in your group. He's the one responsible for ads (best AoE damage + CC). He should take care of them. Anyway try the items trick, some Clerics just love it.

    Another problem is the overspecialization of classes and equipment.
    A Control Wizard should not be a requirement.

    And GF is a defender, forget the classic "I tank the boss" role.
