Dieing When Testing Map

I am having a problem testing my map from the beginning. Just a simple dwarf rp home. But when I start, I instantly die, all black screen. No idea what's going on.

Nothing is on my spawn so...

    Have you tried hitting the Map Reset button (Control+R by default).

    It may also be that your spawn point is actually below the ground. You can try copy/pasting the XYZ values from another item on your map to the spawn point. That should make sure that it is above ground. You can add ~5 to the Y value to definitely make sure it is above ground.
