My character sounds like a kobold.

My character sounds like a kobold now whenever I jump/attack/etc. I tried making a new half-ling to see if it was corrupt sound files, but the new character sounds fine. I tried verifying files, and restarting my PC.

Any suggestions? It's quite annoying.

    I'm having the same problem with my Half-Orc, it's driving me crazy, might just have to reinstall the game.

    almost everyone i've asked has this, it sounds like a mix of a boar companion soundset mixed with some female drow or drider.

    I just found out that this only happens whenever I equipped the Maelstrom Cloak. I dont have any other cloaks to test with, but this definitely happens with that cloak.

    I was puzzled when I equipped the Maelstrom Cloak as well. I first noticed it while hunting undead in a Foundry dungeon. I kept looking around when I heard the growls, not realizing for the first few moments it was just me. I wonder if this is intended?

    This is currently happening to Belmorn Warfate, my dwarven cleric. It may have happened when I he put on the Mealstron Cloak but he's wearing a different one now and the beastial grunting and growling continues. By Moradin he has been cursed!
