Just started with the Foundry but... unless I am missing something it appears to me there is no ability to resize objects???
in 3D mode you have an XYZ axis to move objects and lower/raise them. But I see no option to resize.
As an example, I wanted to make a stack of beer casks along a wall. When I used the Beer Cask object, it filled half the room it was so large! With no option to resize this object, I couldnt use it.
SO again, is there a resizing option somewhere I am missing?
If there isnt a resizing option... why isnt there?
If there isnt, Can we pleaseeee get a resize option for items. Everquest made great use of them. RIFT had them. Star Wars Galaxies had resizing. It will allow far more utility of using objects to have this functionality.
Unfortunately this is not the Rift Dimensions editor, which allows you to resize every item and make completely new ones by putting them together.
Not sure if that was meant as sarcasm or if I should take the comment directly as it is lol.
In any event. Resizing NEEDS, not just "should", but NEEDS to be added as a function for the map editor.
I can give a ton of reasons for it, but suffice to say even simple things like being able to resize a barrel which takes up half an inn to a size you can stack them in a corner should be an option. You dont have to create nearly as many object models if you can resize etc as well.
If half a dozen other games can implement resizing in PLAYER HOUSING features....
Then SURELY Neverwinter can include resizing as a function in its COMPLETE QUEST/MAP EDITOR program which is supposed to give us every tool available to create player driven content.
Not sarcasm, Rift has one of the best server based, live editing tool around. Neverwinter could have taken a ton of inspiration from the actual 3d editing portion of that. Of course, you can't write stories in it.
Also the 3D editor was pretty late in the development. I think it was put into the Foundry about a week before BW3. Hopefully it will get better.

Just my thoughts.
