Yet another Video Tutorial series

Because Youtube always needs more videos :p

My first two videos are done, though audio needs work on the second. The focus is on getting a basic quest up and published as swiftly as possible, explaining everything as I go. They've been rather well recieved within OTG, so I thought I'd put them up here as well for your viewing pleasure.

EDIT: I'm redoing the videos to include the new 3D editor! I'm almost done with the basic set, and after that I'll evaluate if I need to redo the more advanced ones. Depending on how much they rely on the 3D editor I might not hit all of them.

Advanced Topics:
Choosing encounters based on conversation choices. You want to allow the player to choose between three different fights? This video covers this. You want to allow the player to choose between fights in a long chain from the same npc? This covers that as well.

How to Lock Your Quest
Why would you want to lock out someone from playing your quest? Maybe you want to force players to complete them in a specific order. Maybe you just need some feedback on a work-in-progress, but don't want some random person coming along and giving you a 1-star for an unfinished quest. Whatever the reason, this video show you how.

Encounter Waves
It can make for an epic fight to have the players endure several waves of encounters to clear a room or objective. This video shows you how to set this up, using story elements and conversations.

    And the fourth video is up and done. More videos will be coming, I'm not done yet. I have a rough roadmap in my head on the sequence for the next videos, but I'm certainly up for suggestions/requests as well.

    I have watched all of your videos durring the downtime and I must thank you. I've been thinking of making a quest for a long time and you really have helped out.

    Excellent, third video audio needs a little gain, very well done otherwise. These were an excellent introduction to what is possible and also where the foundry still has its small issues that need some work. Keep this up and let me know if there is ever anything I can do to help.

    Don't worry, I'm not done yet :) I'm in finals week right now, so that's why production has slowed down a bit.

    Great tips, thanks!

    I had no idea you could do parallel story events, or that you could drag the dialogue to connect it to another part of the sequence. Very helpful!

    Nice Videos gemstrike I haven't attempted at making a quest myself yet.Anyways I do have one question do you have a video yet for how to make doors and/or traps trigger when a specific lever and/or levers or when on stepping a specific switch and/or switch if not I would greatly like to see one thanks
