Is there a way to mute NPCs and player pets? I don't meant the '-' after a quest giver. I mean the ones that stand around quest areas repeating phrases over and over.

Is there a way to mute player pets? The snarling dog sounds are bad and my own dog keeps scaring me in dungeons thinking something is about to attack me.

    Sadly, no, there's no way to silence the @#%Y^@ NPCs that repeat their lines over and over again.

    Oh good lord yes please give us something to mute npc's. They have this set far too high for frequency at the moment. it is the very definition of spam.

    Actually on the same topic. Support for 5.1 would be nice. Currently when I play with my 5.1 speaker system I get the dialog coming out of my left hand speaker instead of the mid one. It's very jarring.

    This topic is not getting enough attention. Where do you post suggestions or who do you contact? This is a beta, it could still be fixed.

    Getting sick of this garbage. Add an option to turn it off. If you think your lame advertisement tactics are going to work on me or anyone else with a brain, you're mistaken.

    Hearing some lame npc's audio spam over and over and over just pisses me off. You think it makes me want to buy something?

    Just add a quest like the one for the AH and stop this trash.

    I dont hear any npc voices. I turned the slider right down for them.

    Yeah but then you don't hear any of the npc voiceovers when you turn in quests and stuff do you? So there is a workaround but it is not a fix.
