The Map seems claustrophobic

Does the map seems linear, maze-like, and claustrophobic to you? I thought it would open up a bit more to have more open fields and areas, but so far, it seems very tunnel-like.

I think more variety is needed, because the dungeons are already linear.

What level are you at? The zone maps get larger and larger, and heck, I ended up getting lost in Hotenow! Also takes ages to cross Ice Peaks. Those are larger than the zones in most other MMOs.

Is this true? I am in graveyard, it's not really how large the map is, but how tunnel-like or snake-like, or mazelike it is Is the map at Hotenow or Ice Peaks open? Like a big open zone? or are they winding like tunnels?

Hi if it's not too hard for you, can you post a picture of the map? Thanks

Some maps are small, but most of them are very large. Sometimes im getting tired of walking around some neighbourhoods ;) but i like when after crossing a ice peaks im getting some cozy mansion mission.

Haha, you don't owe me anything. It was hardly any trouble. This is mount hotenow btw, there are more places but I couldn't be bothered making pictures of all of them, plus it might ruin your idea's about how the game will progress. Sadly I couldn't make a picture of the map (M), I can assure you it's very big though!

ps. I had to kill about 10 angry trolls to get to that place (nice overview) so you have their blood on your hands!

welcome to instanced worlds. Loats of mmos do this unfortunately.

Im all for open worlds, but theres only 1 mmo that has done it well so far.

Thank you so much! I am looking forward for these new places, and yes, I don't want to get too many spoilers. Thanks anyway.

And that was Ultima Online where the world was actually populated even after years. In WoW, everyone flies, uses flight points (that you find at every corner now and that unlock automatically, so you don't even have to activate them), no longer walks to dungeon entrances because the LFG tool teleports you right into the instance, and world PvP has been dead for years.

Claustrophobic, really? I personally thought blackdagger ruins was enormous, and they only get bigger from there. Icespire Peak O.o I like these large instances.
