Need some help

So here is my situation...

Last night I purchased the Mount Riding II Manual for 700k Astral Diamonds, not realizing that the book upgrades the mount itself, it isn't a skill that I need to learn. That being said the book can't be returned to the vendor, and I'd prefer to not be out the AD if possible. Has anyone else had this happen to them and if so were you able to get a GM to refund the AD for you?

    Why don't you just try it? Go to game support (default: H) to request GM help.

    I did, just curious if anyone else has run into this issue and how it resolved for them
