Reduce loot explosions

Seriously, can we tone down the loot explosions on defeated mobs.

Its bad enough we have to manually gather it all up when its scattered all about, and not in a nice neat pile. But it gets old quickly when it scatters so widely that you aggro other groups of mobs, have to hunt in the trees, or behind crates, just to collect it.

Heck the stuff just ends up everywhere. Its beyond annoying to see a "sparklie" you want but it landed up on some rocks just out of reach.

It is effectively annoying. I'm not asking for a virtual temporary bag like other games but only the loot where the mob died, i don't care much about the corpse you can still catapult him two miles away when i kill him with an at-will.

I actually like the loot explosions. It's funny too, because I notice if I hit with a huge attack for the kill, it sends the loot flying compared to finishing with a light attack.

How much for an auto loot option?

I dislike autoloot, my bags usually full and it'd prompt me to loot and I'd get that box getting me killed I think.

Could copy TERA and have your companions loot for you. :O Think that should be unique and for only certain companions though, ie slimes/cubes. ;) For the sake of RP.

I'm surprized no one has yet to complain about loot flying into unreachable places. At least, unreachable without suicide, maybe. (whee spikes!)

    Ah, c'mon, its fun!
I always imagine when a mob dies, it gets pissed and throws the items all around: **** THIS ****! \O/

The problem is when the loot falls somewhere you can't reach. :( Or suicidal mobs.

    I would love this option.

instead of reducing the loot explosing, you could simply loot being dragged towards you when pressing a button, and then plopping up like it is in group so you can select what you want...would be an alternative

I LOVE chasing the gold. I like how it scatters all over and makes the noises.. It's fun and reminds me of the old sega style collecting games I liked so much.
