Because not being able to play on anything but ridiculously low settings but able to play other games like Tera and Skyrim on max settings is depressing. Even on low i studderstep and freeze constantly.

The game doesn't support Crossfire or SLI configurations yet. So you're essentially running on a single 3870 - which will never be able to run this game on anything but low.

I know, a lot of you are going to think "NVidia just released an SLI profile!" or "You can set alternate frame rendering 2 from the Nvidia Control panel to force SLI!". I have done this and tested the drivers and while yes, it does engage SLI, you gain NO performance from it. At least, I didn't. I actually lost a few FPS with SLI. My cards just sit at around 30% each with no FPS increase (VSync Disabled).

So, the best you can hope for is the ATI spends a bit of time optimizing their Crossfire configuration for the game. I'm waiting for NVidia to do the same.

Sadly, most MMOs don't take advantage of SLI. I realize that this may not describe your situation; however, in the future, if the majority of the games you play are going to be MMOs, you're better off spending as much money on a single card rather than buying two.

The problem is with your CPU, this games loves the better quads out there, specifically the i5. Runs well with my AMD FX-6300. You should look into upgrading anyway your rig is a little dated.
