Why are you playing Neverwinter?

Is it mostly because of the combat & gameplay or because it's Dungeons & Dragons?

And why?

I play so I can exploit and level up characters to 60 in 2 seconds to annoying the people who think it's going to impact their personal gameplay experience.

On a more serious note, I play cos I love the game. I've leveled 2 characters so far and just the leveling experience feels different and the way the game is when you play another character to 60. This is why I'm now working on my Wizard and waiting on the edge of my seat for the Ranger! (COME ON CRYPTIC GET THIS HAMSTER RELEASED ALREADY)

PvP is ok, but can be better (more modes and maps). PvE epic dungeons are challenging and I love it, just a shame that some of the people doing them are stupid as ****, but I hope they get more dungeons added and I look forward to the raids if they do add any in the future :)

I came to Neverwinter because of D&D (even though I have not played D&D in about 15+ years). I am staying with Neverwinter because I am thoroughly enjoying the game.

I play due to D&D (Played PnP for a large portion of my life (2ed/2.2), plus Neverwinter Nights 1-2, though never bothered with 4ed as it's way too dumbed down on paper).

I explicitly chose not to make an "Both!" option. I want people to make a choice in the poll :)

i love DnD and grew up with games like baldurs gate, icewind dale and neverwinter nights 1/2

loved them, i enjoyed DDO for a while too b4 the pay for content got over the top, and i swapped to this. its very similar in some bad ways too this one is missing a full world too, but atleast i dont need to pay for 80% of the quests like i did in DDO

I play because I'm enjoying myself and for me the combat is addicting. I luv D&D!
