I have been getting complaints in some reviews that people are unable to see all of the dialog. That some choices are getting cut off.
Most of my dialog is between 10 - 600 characters long, out of 1000. The game needs to be able to scale the conversations to different screen resolutions. On my 1920x1080 screen everything in every conversation looks fine. I am assuming there are still some ancient monitors out there that can't see this this way.
As such, please add either an option for people to scroll down in the conversations, or make it scale properly to different resolutions as I have no control over that.
I had a similar complaint back in closed beta, and I had the impression that Cryptic actually changed how it works. I noticed that the dialogue windows grew wider for more complex dialogue after Beta Weekend 3. Even so, I've had a comment like yours to one of my quests as well, so it's not working exactly as intended yet.
Can't post new threads yet, but I have a question. I created a Dialogue and added it to an NPC. Is there a way to link it to the story? In the Story Tab, I only seem to be able to add NEW Dialogue not link an existing dialogue.
Thread hijacking is against the forum rules, but regardless, here's your answer: No. There is no way to link it to the story. You'll have to remake it. This is why it's a good idea to write your dialogue in a separate application first.

I agree - and if you write the Dialog in a different application you can also spell check it and make sure the text meets a great level of excellence.

Well hopefully they will fix this soon.
Yeah I've heard 500 tossed around as the upper-safe limit for all resolutions. Think it was mentioned in gillrmn's manual.
That sucks haha.
