Does PW ever do Zen discount-sales?

I know other companies(SOE, Turbine) sometimes offer their cash shop-currencies at great discounts (sometimes even double the amount for the same price), I was wondering if we can expect this from PW too? Ever been a sale in the past?

This is when I usually buy large amounts of currency, so I am kinda holding out for now. But maybe PWE does not do this.

Thanks.

Yes, they often do offer a 15% (I believe) bonus zen.

They should fix their shop prices instead. I would love to spend ALOT money on this game. IF I actually got something worth the money -.-.

I dont like the idea of spending $40 for one mount, when I might want more to change between.
and that's not all I feel like... Oh I need this too! But I won't get it. Because ive already spent 90Euro, and
the only thing I got was some random HAMSTER + a nice epic mount.

Thanks for the answers. :) I am curious, how large was the discount at that sale? I knew about the "buy in bulk, get bonus zen" offer, but I was referring more to really large discounts that are offered for a very limited time (often no longer then a weekend).

Ive seen games sell mounts for 50-60 euros each.. tbh these prices to cool cosmeticly awesome are kinda becoming normal i guess

still a 15% more zen or something is always more then welcome :P

I do also hope perhaps we get some presents for playing the open beta XD but i might be disappointed by that :D

The 15% more sale is in addition to the buy in bulk deal. There is no discount on price, per say.

There's a 15% once off Zen purchase offer on right now, but it only seems to be for those who haven't bought any Zen yet, as I haven't received the email offer but my mate has. I understand the business reasons for this, but it's still rather insulting as it's effectively rewarding your least loyal customers. Why not make the offer available to everyone?

Personally, now that I'm fully aware of how they're planning to run things I won't be spending any more cash on Zen till it's "discount time baby!" and then only for Preservation Wards.

Absolutely agree, both my wife and I would buy more if the value was more in line with what we would receive.

It will be interesting to see if they are running this as a cash grab or really intend to maintain it long term. For the former I would expect everything will stay overpriced as is. If they intend to maintain longer term they need to do a lot of work on zen pricing in general.

So a sub game would be $180 a year (US) or less so I figure thats what I'll spend after I see how this goes past Sept. :)
