Is Double Astral Diamond in effect?

What about for Jewel Idol trade ins? I could've sworn prior to the annoucement an idol would grant you 40k Astral Diamonds....so.....double weekend would grant you 80,000 Astral Diamonds

Unless I am really really mistaken and they were only giving 20,000 per.

Anyone? Please?

    It's definitely applying to daily rewards, and that might be it.

    It wouldn't make much sense to double the value of an item turn in like that, doesn't fit the spirit, but you never know.

PDT (Pacific) (When is that in your time zone?), we're giving you DOUBLE the Astral Diamonds earned in game with every quest and activity that awards Astral Diamonds.

    Highlighted the relevant part. You should be getting double on the idols. If not, contact support I guess....

    Yes, it is active and it even affected Leadership tasks that I had started yesterday already. It's a pretty massive boost. Well, my alts all get more play time this weekend :).

    sfunny was getting AD's for completing Blacklake skirmish, leveled to Orc assault and all I keep getting are rough AD's.
    Whats the ****ing deal?!

    It started a few hours ago already. 6000 for the dungeon quest, for example, and the 800 AD tasks from Leadership awarded 1600, too. Pretty neat!

    When do they show up in your account, I completed a foursome today, foundry, dungeon, pvp etc, and handed in to Rix. over 10 000 diamonds were supposedly given but none showed up in my account....

    any ideas?

    To clarify, anywhere you would earn Rough Astral Diamonds you will get the bonus.
    So if you get refined ADs from something you will not get double.

    never th-less, the diamonds you get from rix are not showing in my account. Ive received 6000, 2000, 2000 and some other amount, but i cant find em in my bag.

    I should have over 15000 by my calcs... I already had (still have) around the 6000 mark.

    Quite a few people have reported this same issue, and I think I saw somewhere that they are in your account, they just arent showing up. Try changing instances or locations. If that doesnt work, try logging out really quick and logging back in. If still no, I have no idea.
