I looked in the zen exchange yesterday and saw a guy selling 142,000 zen, one selling 70,000 zen, 50,000 zen....was there a bug / exploit in the zen exchange the other day, was that the "emergency maintenance"?

nope just simple economics, drop 5 bucks on zen, exchange for AD at say 380, exchange those at 381-382, rinse and repeat.
While very slow going at the lower numbers, you'll only be making a profit of a few hundred ad a time and you often have to wait for the market to hit the numbers you buying/selling at but it's obvious where you'll eventually end up as your amount of zen grows. Unlimited zen and diamonds.

Those big numbers are the totals for all the zen posted, sometimes by several people combined. No bug their, it was just what was being sold/offered for zen.

Yup, it is a community pool like a stock market, not individual posts.

Simple economics eh? 500 zen to 50,000 with a price differential of say 2 would take you very long time. Also there is a skim the Devs take off from the buy/sell price if you notice. So you would have to wait for big swings in prices to make it worthwhile.
