Can you not remove an item you listed on the AH?

How do I do this? It says I cannot remove it, try again later...which I've been trying for the past day and a half now. Is there some time frame where you can? Example: when there is less than 5 hours or something left you may remove it?

    If it has bids you cannot remove it.

    If you post an item with a Starting Bid of 1 AD, don't be surprised if that's all you get. Especially if you have a higher than average Buyout price.
