Question About Store Bags

I just got one of these off the AH, and before I equip it to my guy, can anyone tell me if I can transfer it to an alt if I do so?

Also, is there a limit on how many bags a character can have?

No actually I don't. I bought 2 bags and instantly stuck them on my character. I didn't stop and look at the bag between buying it and wearing it. Sorry.

nope, they are bound on equip so once you put it on your char its bound to that char only :/

    blargh! BLARGH I say!

Thanks for the answer, tho. Looks like I'll have to bid on a few more bags, then.

Wait a second. The Zen store bags (Bag of Holding, Greater Bag of Holding) do not bind. They can be freely transferred before or after equipping. The quest granted bags are bound to character on pickup and are not tradable.

Yep, just tested it with my store bag. Went in the mail just fine.

Interesting. So I guess you can mail them back and forth between alts if you decide to take a break and such. Makes them just a bit more useful at least.

Thanks for the correction. Seems the bags have more value, then. Being able to transfer them is a big plus.

If it said that the bag was bound, it might be that you have a character-bound item sitting in the bag or items in general in the bag?
