Why do the some of foundry authors feel that it is necessary to put large packs of "strong" mobs in a small area considering there is practically no CC in this game. Do you feel that makes the mission more challenging? I have played several foundry mission and I have found that the ones that have "reasonable" combat are the ones I enjoy the best. I can understand having a challenge, but if a group is needed then that should be stated in the description. I just attempted a mission which stated it would be about 25-45 minutes and finally after well over 1 hour I reach what I think was the final area only to come up to 2 groups of mobs of about 8 each. As a guardian I can either take forever to kill them or be dps specced and squisher, throw in a lack of CC and the mobs doing an AOE healing, it went from a fairly enjoyable mission to one of frustration and leaving the mission. Therefore wasting over an hour.
Foundry authors really need to think about the classes and the fact that most people solo the missions AND there is very little CC, if your class has any.
TL;DR Try not to PACK a bunch of mobs into a smallish area where they can CC you just to "pump" up the challenge, instead make a more thought out mission.
Thanks for your time.

The problem with your critique is there are several different types of players. Some enjoy the very thing you detest (small area with strong monsters). Others enjoy a compelling story and do not mind a lack of challenge when it comes to the combat. Then there are people who min/max and want to make the most out of the exp/loot/time.
There are some good Foundry missions out there that are well thought out and story driven (some with challenging but not overwhelming fights).

You're right about different types of players. That's why I put a combat difficulty adjustment in mine. Almost immediately stopped bad reviews of 'too hard' or 'too easy'
