Display Name Conflict- New Names rejected.

So, I bought the Hero of the North Founder's Pack. After purchasing, I was brought to a page called " Display Name Conflict which asked me: Your Display/Forum Name (or “Handle”) does not exist or is already associated with an existing account. Please choose another Display Name, enter it in the field below and click “SUBMIT.” A “Display Name” is your unique name as it appears in-game and to the community. Your Account Name will continue to be used for login and for all account-level transactions.

I tried changing and submitting the name as it asked, but it continuously gave me this:Someone else has already registered that Display Name. Please choose a new one.

No matter how wild or random the name I submitted, it kept rejecting it each time. This seems more like an issue with the page than with the names I'm trying to submit. ( Yes, I followed the naming rules as well. )

This is a really frustrating problem, and the bug ( if it is one) really needs a fix. I was wondering if anyone had this same problem, or better, if someone has found a fix for it.

    Same exact problem here. I looked through the FAQ and it references an account linking process, however I just created my account two weeks ago so this shouldn't be an issue.

    Yes, supposedly in some cases STO or other accounts involving cryptic/PWE can mess up display names. However, I'm in the same boat. This account is only a week old, and I have never played any cryptic/PWE MMOs or made accounts for them. To me, this looks like a really horrific error in their system since not a single new display name is accepted. Really hope they clue into this issue and check their systems.

    Same. Apparently on a different thread a few people say they got their problem fixed by support and had their HotN/ Guaridan added to their account overnight. Really hoping they get this fixed soon, I've been seeing a lot of people having this issue elsewhere on the forums, strangely most were in the past 24 hours. Wondering if its a recent development with their systems or what not.

    Same problem here. even how random i smash my and on the keyboad still taken.
    cant get my guardian pack because of this :(

    hope it get fix soon

    I'm Also having this issue... It is infuriating to say the least. Opened a ticket with no luck so far. I really want my pack and seeing how i've already paid, i'm hoping for a speedy response. I see you've got your Pack redeemed it seems, so are you abandoning the post now? Wondering if anyone has been able to solve this, or am I looking at a few days to get something that I've purchased due to something on their end being messed up?

    I am having the same issue as well, I contacted customer support and still haven't received a response. $60 down the drain....

    Same here, every single time I login to this site despite having it setup and accepting me when I first registered. Isn't our display name the exact name we have on this forum too along with the in game main name and not the characters? So if it's invalid, how exactly are we able to post on here and have it work along withplaying the game? Is it an issue with Neverwinter because it's in beta?

    Still having an issue here, have had a ticket open since May 3rd with no contact from support. If they cannot resolve this issue, they should be offering refunds.

    I had this issue. I fixed it by:

    1) clear your browser cache and cookies
    2) close your browser - all windows
    3) open browser back up and try again

    Note that I'm using Chrome. If that doesn't work, try using a different browser than you usually use.
