i'm hoping for just a shabby hood and cloak fashion slot item or something. i'm tired of the juggler/ninja look.

I have the archon helmet and it is so ridiculous looking I had to disable the visuals on it. made my rogue look like a cone head.
dimtox has a pretty bad as* looking helmet though. best 1 ive seen so far. What is it??

I want my helmet hidden, is that possible? As I don't really care bout helmets at all.
Pretty much seems to be "zorro meets the fonze" until high levels. If you can score a blue quality armor, a couple of them have other skins at lower levels, but meh. There is a cosmetic outfit tab for a reason if you care about such things.
Can pick up a lovely pirates hat from the Blackdagger skirmish or dungeon (forget which). Looks much better than either of those. Would post a pic, but maintenance.

If you don't like the head gear look - open your character chest, and in the helmet options just choose "Disable Visuals". You'll continue to get the benefit and stats of whatever you're wearing, but it won't be visible on your avatar. It will just show your head as you designed it.
I HATE that funky looking hood my Wizard got. Turned off the "visuals" and now I just see my head and hair as I set it in character creation. I'm not sure what else you can disable visuals on, but , um... yeah - that TR stetson is a bit over the top.
My Cleric (and all Clerics) seems to get the best looking helmets. GF's get that flat-top bucket looking thing! LOL I forget what GWFs get.

with 3 girly costumes that makes you look like barbie's Ken, or the potato sack you get early in game... Cosmetic costumes are a no go
so much for so little, the world has too many dumb people, but wth? That's how they make money!

That is the reason why rogues use stealth, so none can see how we are dressed.
Jokes apart, i'd like some more customization before level 60 epics pieces.

My tiefling CW wears the firegiant crown, its a tiara with 3 molten slightly glowing spikes in the front, but due to my tiefling's horns, the 2 smaller side spikes are hidden and only the main one protrudes out of his head, he kind of looks like diablo with the soulstone stuck in his head.
take that how you will

Yes. You can right click helmets (and neck items) and select Disable Visuals.
Thank the Gods. As in like 90% of all MMOs (like this one), head items look absolutely terrible.
