Has anyone been able to figure out these numbers? If so, I would appreciate if they can share their values, I'm creating a spreadsheet and I am unable to test all these figures without the ability to actually test these values effectively and lack of gear also has an impact.
Examples of what I'm looking for: 100 defense = 5% damage reduction, 2000 defense = 30% damage reduction, 10000 defense = 35% damage reduction. I know those numbers are probably way off but I am at work atm and cannot grab the numbers. Thanks in advance.

I don't think anyone has noticed any diminishing returns outside of a reduction in effectiveness as you level. I know there are rogues that have nearly 50% crit; though that probably includes talents and such too.

Especially if your a wizard search YouTube for a video by kripparian about diminishing returns they have a spreadsheet. Unless your a rogue crit diminishes the fastest right around 2.5k. I believe power is directly added to weapon DMG and doesnt diminish. And recovery diminishes the least.

I'm a cw and after looking at that I respecced. Its nice being able to have your daily back up within seconds of casting it. Not to mention recovery enchants are waay cheaper than power and crit.

He has seen some diminishing returns around 3000 but I don't think he's produced any statistics on it though.
