Basically I have made a map using the swamp (outdoor map) and I have placed a house. How do I set it so a person can reach the house and enter the door to enter into another map?
For example, you can put an effect at the door and have it act as a map transition. Then you create an interior map with room layout close to what the house looks like

Firstly, create the interior house map.
Then create an invisible wall and put it in the doorway of the house. (Remember to name it something appropriate, like door)
Go to the story tab, add the interior map, and make the map transition to it the invisible wall.

Thanking you, I shall give that a go. Is the inviz wall a detail? Or is it something you access from the special tab are you able to tell me?

It's a detail. Just search for "invis" on the Details section.
You can also use the Invisible Clicky details.
